Pedro Duarte Meira is Executive Director of the ITGest Group, responsible for the area of Innovation and Engineering. He has more than 40 years of experience in the area of Systems Engineering and has dedicated over 20 years to the research in the field of healthcare engineering (on the area of Active Aging in the last 10 years).

He is also Executive Director of D’ Casa, a company dedicated to civil construction, urban rehabilitation and industrial carpentry, with a fourth generation factory. On behalf of Kentra Technologies, of which he is CEO, he led the ActiVas Project, a project that aimed to promote a disruptive response to the challenges faced by the aging population, in terms of the environment, cities and built spaces, under the motto Live well and healthy in your home with the quality it deserves.
