Paulo Dias
Professor | Universidade de Aveiro
Director | VAR Lab
Researcher at IEETA and Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at the University of Aveiro. He was a PhD student at the Joint European Research Center in Ispra / Italy between 1998 and 2002 having completed his PhD at the University of Aveiro in 2003 on the subject: “3D Reconstruction of real World Scenes Using Laser and Intensity Data”.
He is involved in several works, projects and collaborations in the areas of Virtual and Augmented Reality, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics and Robotics.
He is the author or co-author of more than 150 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
