Currently working as Business Development Manager at INESC TEC, António Almeida completed his Integrated Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, in the field of Automation and Control, at FEUP. During his time as a researcher and student in the doctoral program in Industrial Engineering and Management, he focused his attention on the study of new management and performance control methods in complex industrial environments.

Between 2015 and 2016, he worked at SONAE as a Business Partner Analyst and Product Owner, and subsequently took on the role of Principal Product Owner in the Supply Chain and Order Management áreas at Farfetch, being responsible for managing the roadmap of agile development teams.

Currently, he also shares responsibilities for the coordination of the TEC4Industry program, which main objective is to promote consultancy services and the transfer of knowledge and digital technologies to the industries. He also leads several national and continental projects in the field of Industry 4.0 and digital transition.
