Alberto Rendo
People & Culture Manager | IKEA Industry Portugal
Alberto Rendo was born in Almeida, Guarda, in 1973. He lives in Porto and has two teenage sons. He has a degree in Psychology of Work and Organizations, by the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Porto, and a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management by Portuguese Catholic University.
Since 2017 he is the People & Culture Manager at IKEA Industry Portugal, part of IKEA Industry Group, the world’s largest producer of wooden furniture and an integrated part of the IKEA value chain. IKEA Industry Portugal, located in Paços de Ferreira, started its operations in 2008 and has a total of around 1500 coworkers.
Alberto Rendo has more than 25 years of experience in the field of Human Resources management. As an employee, he worked in several service and industrial companies. As a consultant, he managed clients and projects in many different sectors, in several countries in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
The mission that he embraces every day is to lead policies, agendas, teams, and most of all, people, aiming to dignify the workplace and develop the talents and uniqueness of the people around him.
